Path of the Living Storm — Sagor från Valoris

There is a god the church will not name — a war-god thrown down in the last age, whose body cooled among the high passes and whose voice never stopped. The peaks still carry his weather. Storms gather where he fell and refuse to leave, and among the raiding tribes that winter beneath those mountains, a few learn to open themselves to what lingers there. They do not pray, exactly. They listen — and the storm answers in their blood.

A barbarian who walks the Path of the Living Storm is not blessed so much as claimed. The dead god's power moves through them in battle, and — the tribes swear — will not release one of its own, not even when the body has given out. To fall well in his fury is no ending. It is proof that his strength outlived him, and might yet wake.

3rd Level

Storm's Fury

The storm rides your blows. While you are raging, the first creature you hit on each of your turns with a weapon attack takes extra lightning or thunder damage (your choice) equal to 1d6 plus half your barbarian level, rounded down.

Claimed by the Storm

The storm pours itself back into you when the body fails. You have a pool of four d12s. As a bonus action, you can spend any number of them, roll them, and regain hit points equal to the total. The pool refreshes when you finish a long rest, and it grows by one die at 6th level (5), 12th level (6), and 17th level (7).

6th Level

Unbroken Will

The storm steadies you where your own nerve would break. Once during each of your rages, when you fail a saving throw, you can reroll it, adding your Rage Damage bonus to the new roll. You must use the new result.

10th Level

Voice of Thunder

You loose a war-cry that breaks like a thunderhead across the field. As a bonus action, choose up to ten other creatures within 60 feet of you that can hear you. Until the start of your next turn, each chosen creature has advantage on attack rolls and saving throws.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest — unless you spend one use of your rage to call the thunder a second time.

14th Level

The Storm Does Not Fall

The god does not let his own drop while the fury is still in them. While you are raging, being reduced to 0 hit points doesn't knock you unconscious. You still make death saving throws, and you still suffer the usual consequences of taking damage while at 0 hit points.

But if you would die from failed death saves, you do not die until your rage ends — and even then, only if you are still at 0 hit points.
