Warrior of Mercy — Sagor från Valoris

The Warrior of Mercy walks the line between healer and executioner, and treats both as acts of compassion. These monks study the body as a physician does — every pressure point, every failing organ, every thread by which a life hangs — and learn to tug those threads in either direction. A touch to mend the dying, a touch to drain the cruel; to the Warrior of Mercy, they are the same craft turned to different ends.

There is a somber grace to this tradition. Its monks are the ones who tend the wounded after the battle and who grant a swift, clean end to the suffering that cannot be saved. They carry the herbalist's kit and the surgeon's calm into places others flee, and at the height of their art can even call the recently dead back across the threshold. Life and death, in their hands, are simply two directions of one mercy.

3rd Level

Implements of Mercy

You take up the healer's learning. You gain proficiency in the Insight and Medicine skills and with the Herbalism Kit — the eyes to read a body's suffering, the knowledge to treat it, and the tools to carry that care wherever the road leads.

3rd Level

Hand of Harm

You learn to turn your knowledge of the body against it. Once per turn, when you hit with an Unarmed Strike and deal damage, you can expend 1 Focus Point to deal extra Necrotic damage equal to one roll of your Martial Arts die + your Wisdom modifier — a precise, withering touch that finds the weakness beneath the skin.

3rd Level

Hand of Healing

The other hand mends. As a Magic action, you can expend 1 Focus Point to touch a creature and restore Hit Points equal to a roll of your Martial Arts die + your Wisdom modifier. And when you use Flurry of Blows, you can replace one of its Unarmed Strikes with a Hand of Healing — without spending a Focus Point for the healing, weaving care into the same motion as the fight.

6th Level

Physician's Touch

Both hands grow subtler. When you use Hand of Harm, you can also leave the target Poisoned until the end of your next turn. When you use Hand of Healing, you can also end one condition afflicting the creature — Blinded, Deafened, Paralyzed, Poisoned, or Stunned — clearing away the worst of what ails it along with its wounds.

11th Level

Flurry of Healing and Harm

Your Flurry becomes a blur of tending and undoing. When you use Flurry of Blows, you can replace each of its Unarmed Strikes with a Hand of Healing, spending no Focus Points for that healing. And when a Flurry strike deals damage, you can apply Hand of Harm without a Focus Point (still only once per turn) — pouring life into allies and death into foes in a single flurry.

17th Level

Hand of Ultimate Mercy

Your compassion reaches across the threshold of death itself. As a Magic action, you can touch the corpse of a creature dead within the past 24 hours and expend 5 Focus Points to return it to life with 4d10 + your Wisdom modifier Hit Points, cleansed of any Blinded, Deafened, Paralyzed, Poisoned, or Stunned condition it died with. Once you do, you can't again until a Long Rest — mercy in its most absolute form.
