Long before there were warbands, there were the beasts — the bear that fears no winter, the eagle that owns the sky, the wolf that never hunts alone. The barbarian of the Wild Heart does not merely admire these creatures. They open themselves to the spirits behind them, and let the wild pour in. When they rage, it is not a man who roars, but something older wearing a man's shape.

Each fury becomes a choice of which nature to wear. One day the unbreakable hide of the bear; the next, the wolf's cunning that turns a pack of allies into a single hunting animal. To walk this path is to never truly fight alone — the whole living world leans in at your shoulder, waiting to be called.

3rd Level

Rage of the Wilds

When you Rage, you take on the spirit of a beast, choosing its gift anew each time. The Bear gives Resistance to every damage type except Force, Necrotic, Psychic, and Radiant; the Eagle lets you Disengage and Dash as part of your Rage (and as a Bonus Action thereafter); the Wolf grants your allies Advantage on attacks against enemies within 5 feet of you.

Animal Speaker

The wild speaks, and you answer. You can cast Beast Sense and Speak with Animals as rituals — riding an animal's senses, or simply asking the creatures of the world what they have seen.

6th Level

Aspect of the Wilds

You gain an enduring gift of the animal kingdom that persists even when your Rage does not — the owl's darkvision, the panther's effortless climb, or the salmon's swimming stride. It is a permanent mark of how deep the bond has grown.

10th Level

Nature Speaker

Your kinship widens from the beasts to the land that holds them. You can cast Commune with Nature as a ritual, drawing the lay of the wild — its waters, its dangers, its hidden paths — straight from the world around you.

14th Level

Power of the Wilds

While Raging, you can call on an apex form: the Falcon's flight to take the fight into the air, the Lion's commanding roar that leaves foes struggling to strike anyone but you, or the Ram's crushing charge that hurls enemies to the ground.
